Grrr, Bllrrrg. Mrrmmph
That was my reality. Those mumbling noises were all I had left, all anyone had left. I could barely shamble around, barely lift my nearly fleshless arms. Barely see through my remaining moldy eye. Hearing was far gone. Smelling? I think I'm happy I can't smell anything.
I spend my days trying to shamble down a decaying road. I don't know where I am. I don't know who I am. I am hungry though. Always hungry. Gnawing at my remaining insides. Screaming in what's left of my rotting brain.
Brain?
Grrr, Bllrrrg. Mrrmmph. Braaiiinnnns!
Sorry. I got distracted. Where was I. Oh yes. Shambling down a decaying road. I don't know how long I have been on this road. Maybe a day. Maybe a year. I don't remember the last time I ate. Or even who it was, maybe I never knew.
I glance over my shoulder and see my last victim, shambling along behind me.
Arrg. I mumble.
Glrarbb. He mumbles back.
He's missing an arm. I guess that's all I needed to eat then.
I turn back and notice some food ahead. I wonder how long she has been standing there. I try to speed up and only succeed in the normal shamble, maybe with an extra shuffle added in.
The food doesn't flee like usual. It seems to be waiting for me. I don't care. I just want to eat it. I hear the shambling behind me speed up a bit. I hope he doesn't get to the food first.
As I approach, the food lifts it's hands. There is something long and glinty extending from it's hand. I don't care. I dive in for a taste. And by dive in I mean I lurch one step closer.
The food swings it's arms at me and the world spins around. Everything is taller suddenly. A headless Zombie is lunging at my food and missing. The food runs past it.
The world goes black.
